Primary Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for shelter animals including feeding, cleaning, grooming, and exercising
- Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns to veterinary or supervisory staff
- Clean and sanitize animal enclosures, shelter areas, and equipment to ensure healthy living standards
- Assist in onsite adoption events and customer interactions to facilitate successful placements
- Support shelter operations including inventory management, record keeping, and compliance with animal welfare regulations
- Contribute to community education programs that promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team committed to high care standards
