Veterinary Technician Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Perform laboratory procedures including blood work, urinalysis, and cytology
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgery and recovery
- Operate diagnostic equipment such as radiography and ultrasound under supervision
- Maintain detailed medical records and prepare treatment plans
- Educate pet owners about preventive care, medications, and post-procedure instructions
